Bacon, egg and sauerkraut skillet

  • 8 bacon strips
  • 8 eggs
  • 2¬†cups sauerkraut
  • 4¬†cups milk


  1. Heat a skillet over medium-high and add bacon. Cook 3 to 4 minutes on one side, then flip and cook 2 more minutes until crispy. Transfer to a plate lined with paper towels.

  2. Crack eggs into the same skillet, cover and fry 2 minutes until white is set and yolk has a thin film over it. Flip and fry an additional minute if desired.

  3. Serve bacon and eggs with a side of sauerkraut and a glass of milk.
