Ingredients
- 1 pie crust
- 4 apples
- 1 ½ tsp cinnamon
- 1 lemon
- ¼ cup applesauce
- 1 tbsp cornstarch

Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. If not already done, grease a 9-inch pie or tart pan and press the pie crust into the pan. Refrigerate crust while prepping the apples.

Peel and thinly slice the apples. Place in a bowl, then add cinnamon, 2 tbsp lemon juice, the applesauce and cornstarch. Toss gently to coat.

Step 3
Remove the crust from the fridge. Fill with apples. Bake 45 to 50 minutes, or until crust is golden. Let cool before cutting.
