Chocolate macadamia squares

  • 3 oz dark chocolate
  • 1 cup macadamia nuts
  • ⅔ cup almond butter


    To do ahead:

  1. Line a 9x9 baking dish with parchment.

  2. Break dark chocolate into pieces and place in a blender or food processor. Add macadamia nuts and pulse until finely chopped. Pour into a bowl and stir in almond butter.

  3. Spread mixture into the prepared baking pan. Smooth into an even layer, Freeze 2 hours, up to overnight.

  4. At snack time:

  5. Lift parchment to remove the bars from the pan. Thaw bars 5 minutes, then cut into 12 squares.

  6. Enjoy 1 square per serving, or freeze individual squares for future snacking.
