Monterey jack cheeseburgers in lettuce wraps

  • 4 eggs
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 ½ tsp butter
  • 4 oz monterey jack cheese
  • 1 butter lettuce head


  1. In a bowl, lightly beat egg. Add ground beef and mix to combine, seasoning with salt and pepper. Form into patties.

  2. Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add patties and cook 5 minutes without moving.

  3. While burger cooks, thinly slice jack cheese. Separate and wash butter lettuce leaves.

  4. Flip burgers and place cheese on top. Cook 4 minutes more, until done to your preference and the cheese is melted.

  5. Enjoy burgers in butter lettuce leaf wraps.
