Monterey jack cheeseburgers in lettuce wraps
- 4 eggs
- 1 lb ground beef
- 2 ½ tsp butter
- 4 oz monterey jack cheese
- 1 butter lettuce head
In a bowl, lightly beat egg. Add ground beef and mix to combine, seasoning with salt and pepper. Form into patties.
Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add patties and cook 5 minutes without moving.
While burger cooks, thinly slice jack cheese. Separate and wash butter lettuce leaves.
Flip burgers and place cheese on top. Cook 4 minutes more, until done to your preference and the cheese is melted.
