Spicy horseradish deviled eggs

  • 8 hard-boiled eggs
  • 4 oz ham
  • 2 ½ tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 ¼ tsp dijon mustard
  • 2 tsp horseradish
  • ½ lemon
  • ¾ tsp cayenne


  1. Cut hard-boiled eggs in half and scoop yolks into a small bowl. Set whites aside on a serving plate.

  2. Mash yolks with a fork. Finely chop ham and add to yolks, then add mayonnaise, mustard, horseradish, 1 tsp lemon juice, cayenne and salt and pepper to taste. Mash all ingredients together until thoroughly combined.

  3. Stuff each egg half with horseradish mixture. Garnish with extra cayenne to taste.
