Shrimp, celery and cucumber salad

  • 2 lbs shrimp
  • 4 sticks celery
  • 2 cucumbers
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • ¾ lime
  • 2 tsp seafood seasoning
  • 2 ½ tsp dill


  1. Add 2 cups of water to a pot and place over medium-high heat with a steamer insert. Add shrimp, cover tightly and steam until shrimp are firm and opaque, 6 to 8 minutes. Set aside to cool.

  2. Meanwhile, thinly slice celery. Cut cucumber in half lengthwise and thinly slice.

  3. In a bowl, combine sour cream, mayonnaise, 6 tsp lime juice, seafood seasoning and a pinch of salt and pepper. Stir to combine, then add shrimp, celery and cucumber and toss until evenly coated.

  4. Garnish with dill to serve.
