Recipe Contest Winners Revealed: Our Top Fall Dishes

Pumpkin protein pancakes

The votes are in! We put out the call for your top simple back-to-school dishes for fall and you delivered! We had over a hundred submissions, and tested and tasted them to come up with a winner ... or in this case, two winners!

Ginger-soy poached salmon with cabbage slaw

One of our new favorite ways to prepare salmon, this recipe poaches the fish in a a savory soy glaze to keep it perfectly moist, and pairs it with a fresh, tangy slaw. Prep some rice the day before, and you have dinner done in 20 minutes.

Pumpkin Protein Pancakes

Pancakes without gluten or dairy can be tricky to perfect, but this recipe rises to the challenge. It's a vegan-friendly batter that includes a little protein powder for extra satiety, and a little pumpkin for ... extra autumn-ness. Prep your batter in advance and store it in the fridge, you so can make fresh pancakes on the fly all week long.

Plus more runners-up ...

We couldn't stop there! We had a few more recipes we had to recommend for your fall menus, from a warming vegetarian pasta to a Greek-style guacamole, to spiced cinnamon cookies. Check them out in your meal queue now!
